this is my setup, 1: 2 3/4” to 3” silicone adapter 1: 3” piece of pipe from a cold air intake and 1: 90 deg snorkel top.
Take a heatgun and a screwdriver handle to the little dimples/ridges on the inside that keeps the snorkel head from going all the way down. It'll let you put that snorkel head a little lower.

Nice job. My wife or my father who ride in the passenger seat would absolutely hate that though. You may want to add a small filter of some sort if you run a full windshield since a ton of dust comes into that area.
No windshield. Just a soft top she will throw on if its going to rain while were out. She prefers the open air feeling

Why would they hate it? It changes nothing about the ride and I don't think the sound would be any different than a under hood snorkel thats right in your face.

Because it would be right in their ear

with the angle it points it is barely noticeable to me when i ride with her. This was cruising down the road at Muddy Bottoms. The soft top was still on at this time also, we took it off about 20 minutes later.

I routed mine through the passenger side cup holder hole. All 2" SCH40 PVC.

5 x 45 degree elbows
3 x 90 degree elbows
1 x silicone adapter
2 x hose clamps
and a 10' piece of 2" PVC should do it.

I bought the same pvc set up for my 2021 P1K5. I’m going to attempt to make it myself. How did you secure the pvc 45 degree into the intake? I bought a silicone adapter (2 1/2 x 3) but doesn’t seem sturdy enough to keep water out. Any information would be appreciated!

@Jas sxs that guy hasn't been on in 9 months. You're probably better off to go to post number 17 and do it that way that's what mine is like and he has a list of materials for it
