Update: Used the SXS several times and there is no noticeable difference in sound

I've replaced the tires with light truck style mud and snow treads, added insulation to the hard top, under the seat, the floor and seat platform, and my cab is still offensively noisy. I no longer hear tire whine and the engine exhaust sound is muffled, but I still hear the metallic gear sounds of the drivetrain. And I should mention, I have severe hearing loss.

The only thing that works is my cheap Walmart hearing protection ear muffs.

It'd have to be glued on or something, and would have to be changed out, depending on how much you mud, etc.

I recently bought a honda pioneer 700-4 because I had read that it was the quietest of utv's. It is extremely loud in the cab. I think it is coming from the shifting. Is there any way to quiet that.
