P1000 Honda skid plate vs Super ATV

I’m looking to get a skid plate for my P1k-5. I’m just wondering if it really matters what one I get. I’m leaning towards the Honda aluminum skid plate over the Super ATV plastic one. Mostly because it’s about $200 cheaper for the Honda.
Is there something I’m missing? Can anybody think of a reason why I should spend the extra $ for the plastic Super ATV skid plate?

The super atv skid is way more coverage than the factory Honda or the aluminum Honda options. also depending on what kind of riding you do, (rocks for example...) the uhmw that the super atv is made from is more forgiving than aluminum. once aluminum bends you could have a hard time lining up bolts if you were to pull it off for service. I have a super atv and I'm happy with it so far. I would suggest waiting for a sale, it's not uncommon to get 20% off
