Well I guess I have sat on these long enough and would like to offer an option to mount rear view mirrors on the Honda Pioneer 1000 Gen 2 soft upper doors. With the help of my good friends @HBarlow and @Dirtstiffs-1000, I believe I have a viable option to mount the mirrors on the soft doors that allows for a better view of the mirrors. Originally designed out of aluminum, the current design is 3d printed with the hopes that I might be able to help a few more people out and less fabrication on my end. The brackets are designed to insert into the upper door fabric and attach to the internal aluminum frame thus leaving a clean install on the outside of the doors. I originally designed these to utilize the Honda factory mirrors, but I have since added a secondary 6-10mm hole to mount a single stud mount mirror. Hopefully this will offer more options to mount mirrors from various brands.

I have tried to reach out to users that have asked about these mounts on the various threads. If I missed someone I apologize. If you are interested or have questions, please send me a message and I will try to answer them.

I hope everyone has a good day and gets out to enjoy their machine.
Seth

Do these fit gen 1 uppers? Or 2nd gen only?
I have no experience in the gen 1 uppers. Looking at the installation instructions the angle in the front looks to be a little different between the 2 versions. I would find it hard to believe that the manufacturer would start over the frame design though and would rather upgrade the seal and door fillers. So they might work just fine. I would be willing to send you a set if you would be willing to let me know if they fit??

Highly recommend.
You're a good man Jim. I've been rather nervous about these, but with Harvey's and your encouragement, I finally decided to pull the trigger. I thought I might start small with a few sets and see where that leads.

Have a good day my friend.

I've had a set of Seth's mirror brackets on my Pioneer for, I think, 3 - 4 years now. They are manufacturer quality - what you would expect if you bought them from Honda parts department.

I adjusted the mirrors for rear vision when installed and have never touched them again. The brackets allow the m mirrors to be re solidly mounted so they don't vibrate or move when the buggy is operated.

Seth should package and sell them for at least $100 a pair.
