Can someone explain how the self leveling system works? I peeked under there and didn't see what I'd expect - sensors and actuators of some sort. Thanks.
Basically the more weight you put on the rear, it increases the pressure which goes to a reservoir to help increase the spring rate as the machine moves. That’s a rough answer but should be how it works. Can someone explain how the self leveling system works? I peeked under there and didn't see what I'd expect - sensors and actuators of some sort. When I said help spring rate I meant it takes some of the load to help the spring. Sorry for the confusion. @HondaTechThanks. Hoping for a little more detail maybe HondaTech will be along in a bit.
I don't see how you can increase spring rate on the fly- the springs are fixed coils of metal that don't change.
Yeah, that was a way better explanation lol.Same shock described by Yamaha.
I loovvve s**t like this! What an elegant engineering solution!! I checked out one of these on a machine...couldn't see squat.Same shock described by Yamaha.
You couldn't see squat because it was self leveled.....LOLI loovvve s**t like this! What an elegant engineering solution!! I checked out one of these on a machine...couldn't see squat.
Thanks for "getting" my pun!!! I thought it was clever when I posted it over a year ago and no one responded until nowYou couldn't see squat because it was self leveled.....LOL
If no one wants them from you I have a friend who would like them.I've got a free set, shipping on your dime.
HA!If no one wants them from you I have a friend who would like them.
No, they don't.Do the Fox QS3's not have the self leveling feature?
