P1000 How does the 1000-5 self leveling rear suspension work?

Just as a followup, I upgraded to the Fox shocks all around. Hasn't been an issue, even with a quartered elk in the back.

I do intend to change springs though as the progressive part of the springs is fully collapsed most of the time.
