I was talking golf with a fellow rider the other day and we both wondered if there are were any regular golfers on the forum. I play with a bunch of buddy's on Thursdays at my local course and try to get out at least one other day during the week. The one day I use a cart the other I walk. Keeps me flexible and gets me a little exercise.

Many years ago I was leaving the house with my clubs and my wife at the time asked me if golf was more important than our marriage, notice I said the wife at the time.

Oh HELL yea! I want one too!!

**Edit; I just looked it up.. 29 bucks! Threads onto the barrel of your AR! Get a box full of 223 blanks, and you're golden!

I'm gonna get me one of those! HAHAHA!
Yeah, they also have one that shoots full cans of coke! But the golf balls work better. They’re fun toys.

I've played once 18 years ago. It was fun. I can hit the ball a long way, that's if I hit the ball and not the grass in front of it, if I did hit the ball it would never get in the air and just roll and bounce down the fairway and I never hit the ball straight, so when I say I can hit the ball a long way it has always went the wrong way. It was a Disaster but fun.

I have a membership and try to play at least twice a week. Mens night on Thursday and then I try to get out once on the weekend. I haven't made it near as much as I'd like to though.

Have to confess, have never played. Get funny looks when I tell some folks that. Probably the same look I give when someone says they’ve never hunted or wet a hook.

I will tell you though.. given the fact that you obviously love the outdoors.. and like most of us, are probably type "A" personality..

don't start.

I'm a very, very competitive guy. I used to poo-poo the game. Then a buddy of mine talked me into going. I sucked at it (still do) but it hooked me. It is one of those games that you love to hate. I always say, you play 18 holes to get that one really good shot.. & somehow it makes it all worthwhile.
