How tall tire to go without any rubbing???

I know there have been a lot of discussion but searching couldn't find a answer. How big of diameter 12" tire can a person go with that will not rub on full compression for the Pioneers with stock suspension?

I would say 27. To go 28 you need a lift and it will rub a tad at full turn and compression.

with the 27inch are you guys using the spacer in the front shock,s and if you are how big of a spacer? and do you adjust the rears as well thanks. seen on another web site a guy is running 28 inch maxxis bighorn 2.0 with no suspension altering at all it seems . Thanks...

Yes, 28's will fit without any modifications using aftermarket wheels. On the p4, you should run the shock at full adjustment as it sometimes hits the rear ROPS brace under full compression. The spacers can work too if you need a little lift or want to fix the front from being so soft.

You will want the spacers!
My one real complaint with the P4 is the front shocks. I could buy a set of the 2015 shocks for $175 but $6 for a 6" x 1-1/2"diam galvanized pipe
is far cheaper.
I am about to replace my ⅝" spacers (went conservative) with an 1-¼" spacer.
Me and the wife are not heavy enough combined to cause it to bottom out the front with ⅝"
Me and my brother in law are heavy enough combined to cause the front to bottom out hard with the ⅝" so I am doubling it to 1-¼"

Have the rear on the next to last notch (Second hardest setting) carries 4 up or 2 up and a @450lb sprayer setup just fine.

28's will fit stock, wish I had gone that size and the lift.

Have 27's and a StrongMade lift with no issues.

You can see the suspension angles here...@15" under the rear center section. I hang up in very few spots now.

Do you guys think i can fit 30" mudlites under the front? I have a 2" lift and after market rims.

Should be able to I've seen several people with 30's. Not sure what lifts they have.

This is the route I was thinking about going when these wore out, have you had and liked the MudLites or are you buying them for other reasons?

I've read a lot of mixed reviews, opinions, seems split down the middle on whether they are worth anything. Def a great deal and I can get them in the size I want.

That's the thing about tires, what works great for one person in their area of the country could be awful for another person in a different location. Then you throw in different driving styles and an infinite number of other variables and it makes it very hard to compare. If reviews are fairly evenly split then I'd say go for it, especially if there are other aspects of the tire that you like (size, price, construction, etc.)

Agreed, I went with the GBC Dirt Devils ($75ea) when everyone was telling me go with BigHorns or any other $150-$200 tire. I have been extremely happy with their performance on all terrains rock,dirt, snow, wet stuff, even in gooey mud which I'm only in when there's no other route. My only wish is that they made a 29 or a 30 (the GBC 27" is actually about 26-½" when loaded and at manufacturer suggested pressure (when loaded the factory 25 was 25") so it'd be nice to get a 30" and it only be @29" or if they made a true 29.

GBC has a few good tires but they stop at 26-27 and 28 which is somewhat annoying considering they are good tires and good price.

With the SuperATV lift I am running 28-9-12 Front and 28-11-12 Rear Mega Mayhems. I put it thru the paces here and I got no rubbing and no noticeable loss of power!!!
