Looking at the crate size I expect this is the 3 link model. The 5 link may be longer and fit this crate. Longer rear suspension and forward a-arms plus a foot wider could make this a full on race ready model with 2 feet or more of wheel travel. It looks like the cage is fully welded and it may have a fuel cell standard. The fuel cell would add safety and the engine could have high HP with a turbo. I expect the twin but it could have a flat 4 with twin turbo's. We will know for sure this year. The factory capacity is 100,000 side by sides a year.

I'm even more interested in the new Honda now. Honda knows Turbo's well and they do a lot of racing so I do expect a mild trail model and a full on racing model. Honda did a great job with the 1000cc twin especially with the transmission. My 2016 Pioneer 1000 is at 14,868 miles and still only $25.00 in repairs. It runs like new so I expect the high mileage guys will see at least 40,000 miles before any engine work is needed. Honda's V6 race truck is doing well in the desert races. I think its 3 1st places and 1 2nd for this year. If Honda has a high end race model I expect they will race in the Baja 1000 this year. One thing is for sure the next few months are going to be interesting.

Honda is number 1 in ATV sales and I expect they are working hard to be number 1 in UTV sales. The Pioneer 1000 set a high standard in 2016. For owners that put on less then 1000 miles a year the belt drive models will work ok. For hard use or 5,000 miles or more a year most owners will not be happy with belt drive maintenance and failures. The Turbo Sport models work great until a belt fails. I think Honda will set a new standard for Sport Models this year. My Pioneer is amazing but I drive my Yamaha YXZ if its not broke when I ride with the Turbo Guys. When I drive my Pioneer I take them on tight trails so they can't blow by me in the long straight sections. I just hate it when that happens. The Maverick has 100 hp more then my Pioneer and twice the wheel travel. I've been waiting a long time for the Honda Sport models and like all manufactures they test everything available. The spy pictures of the crates indicate they have a large high end model coming this year. If I'm disappointed the 2019 YXZ with the factory Turbo will have about 180 hp and they improved the paddle shift model, fixed the weak frame areas, fixed the cooling system, fixed the gearing problem, etc. Can-Am may have a new model with a transmission and 3 feet of wheel travel. Its going to be an interesting year.

why oh why do these companies still do half doors from the factory. Do a full door and put a removable section in the bottom if needed.
