P500 Is K&N oil filter oil ok

Had the son go to the store to pick up some foam air cleaner oil..
He bought back some K&N filter oil..
So after some research there are many views.on this so yes or no??

I would say NO....K&N oil is for cotton gause type material..thinner oil and not super tacky. Foam Filter Oil is thick and very very sticky. I would use a Foam Air Filter specific Oil...Bell Ray makes a real nice Foam Filter Oil.

That oil will not work at all you need actual foam filter oil.
