Finally got around to changing the oil today. After a short test ride WOW what a difference.Engine seems quiter but the gears and shifting is Much better. If you’re on the fence about trying it out get off and get it done. Hope this helps out… LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!!!

Tried it in my 2015 P500… mmm switched back to Honda Semi Synthetic. Mine just didn’t shift as nice. Once back to Honda stuff it’d snick into gear beautifully, maybe I shoulda messed with clutch adjustment more… oh well. Now not runnin down T6 as I use it in my 7.3 powerstroke and other Honda products, outboards, Generators, water pumps etc., is good stuff for sure! Glad it’s working for those that it does…. Makes life easier too if you’ve got a bunch o’ gear and only need 1 brand.

Are you guys running T6 in the engine and sub-transmission? What weight?
This would be for a 2020 P1000-5

No not second guessing, I was just not sure where to use it and what weight.
Yeah, that was my intent to use back then. I use T6 in all my other toys but ended up using GL4 for the Pioneer.
I use the diesel rated T6 15w40 in my motorcycles because it doesn't cause slippage with wet clutches.
I am due for another oil change, so I searched and found the T6 thread and found that is ok to use, which led to my question is it ok to use in both engine and transmission.
Then I asked what weight to use in both cases.

Use the 5-40 T6 in your Honda sxs
I use it in my truck, my P1 since 16’, my old P5 and my currant Talon.

Thank you, just to confirm you use 5-40 T6 in both the engine and sub-trans?

Not true, Remi.

The DCT and engine share the same oil and so do our wet clutches, the last place you want to use moly additives. The sub trans gets the moly, not the DCT.
