Looks like a beast! Got any videos of that thing in action? I would like to see how it spins the tires in mud.

i will get some this weekend. i am more of the slow approach, got stuck twice. once water up to the factory intake location so i shut it down and winched out (not worth killing an engine) and the other i was stuck on a damn root from china and again, close to sucking in water, so out came the winch. L gear defn works good on pulling it through the 'butter'. i even got to the point of trying to get it stuck in mud without success.

I like those wheel/tires!

FWIW I tossed the rear sway bar and it keeps the inside rear wheel on the ground when I turn now, and it also feels more planted. It articulates more now. Also, 2" wheel spacers put my width to height ratio back to where it was stock, I recommend them.

Nice to hear more positive feed back on pulling the sway bar. Don't want to exceed the stock width, but I'm still going to unplug the sway bar for this weekends ride to see if I agree that it improves articulation. Thanks for that commentary.

I removed the sway bar on my 700 and really liked the way it handled. Does not pitch side to so so much in technical stuff and seemed to ride smoother, better articulation. Am considering doing the same with my 1000 one of these days.

Remove the end links from the bar to get it out. I learned this after trying to twist it out to no end..

Give us some more feedback monte. I didn't want to mess with something that Honda must have thought necessary but...

I hear ya. But here's the deal, I've had mine nearly on its side multiple times, and actually on its side once now. It can't be emphasised enough the tippy nature of the P-5. I've had a PoPo for 7 years now and it's feet are always firmly planted on the ground. So, today I'm going to disconnect the sway bar leaving it zip tied in place and test it out this weekend. If it makes my ride safer, then I'll have to disagree with the Honda engineers on this one. If I don't like it, I'll reconnect it and agree that the engineers were right. But half a dozen or more members have disconnected theirs and declared they won't be going back, @Stacy most recently. And of course, I'll post my opinion by the end of the weekend, no worries bud.

...I'm leaving mine on.
I un did it for 2 rides
& felt a slight difference
...but think putting shocks
on the lowest setting
gives same feel
IMO

removed mine since it was limiting travel with the 2" lift (and will be going higher with the air susp). I would have kept it on if i didnt lift it, these are defn tippy. I wouldnt recommend removing is unless you really need to.

Seems as though it can be left in place and zip tied up out of the way. Removal isn't necessary unless you just want to.

Yep, the P5 is tippy. But that's the argument for disconnecting sway bars which are typically installed for stability when cornering at speeds. I tend not to do that anyway. My butt clinching activity is on rough, no, ROUGH washed out trails and trails that run at time perpendicular to the slope which has had my P5 nearly on its side on innumerable occasions, and actually put it on its side once!

Mine has been better in every way with it disconnected. Even at higher speeds. At high speed it does have more roll. But it seems it rolls the suspension as opposed to tires wanting to come off ground.
