I've got a set of amber ones that are marker lights for a semi trailer, was thinking about adding these while I'm doing everything else today. Same idea except mine are dual filament so they could be turn signals too

  • For the LED and face surround... 45/64" converts to 18mm --> the part you'll see / the part that will shine.

Also, if you're wondering about the RIVET hole size to push these through...

  • The thread diameter on the ones I just bought are 3/8".
  • The rivets hole is already 8mm, which converts to 5/16th's
  • 3/8 is 6/16th's...
  • So you'll have to drill the hole, 1/16th larger than it already is...

No....
I'm running one battery
low voltage. ..
like the 3w....
the 9w....little intense
you may like um....
I know the cheap ones
are all plastic
I've read bunches of reviews. Users suggest also filling the body cavity in with silicone prior to installation to keep the wires from breaking due to stress. And helps to waterproof.

Kool...
would love to see pics
As promised.

Honestly, I didn't resize the rivet hole... At 1/16th difference, I just screwed the LED through. It pulled down nicely. Metal vs Plastic, metal wins.

Also worth noting, I bought a 10 pk, but chose to do only the lower rivet on each side. The upper would have been a blinding annoyance to others.

I like it. Thanks again for the tip. This is a good forum.
