Anyone know of a good set of replacement "862" LED headlight bulbs for a 700-4. Don't want the trouble of HID's really or buying the 1000 Deluxe LED headlights? I've looked on Amazon and eBay and there are several to choose from but thought someone else may have found a good set they would recommend. I think the stock halogens are around 700 lumens and would like something equal or better.

Thank you @Tflynn
I went straight to hids in the 700. I've had bad luck with the higher output halos especially the Silverstars, unless they're in a very large housing they get hot and don't last for crap.
Hopefully someone else has had good luck with something else and could give you some luck.

If you have not added a LED light bar then do it and forget the head lights. You still will have the head lights for back up if the LED light bar would stop working.

Thanks Fellas, I've got the honda pods on each corner and kinda disappointed. It was an impulse buy at the dealer when I purchased my 700-4. They're not really bright at all. Since then I've added Grote mini LEDs on each side and the back. Really lights up the night. I may look into a lightbar and the HID's. Any suggestions on either?

Xentec HID's were what was suggested to me and I really liked them. Most everyone just does Amazon light bars or pods... when you wire them just put spade connectors or plugs so you could change them out if necessary.. they're cheap and most are pretty decent. Just shop reviews and find what you like.

Ok fellas, here's what I decided to go with. JDM Astar 50w 6000k 881 LED bulbs. Direct plug and play. They are roughly 950 lumens vs the 650 lumen stock halogens. Very happy, just need to pull the trigger on a lightbar. Here's a few pics, stock on the left and LED's on the right

Hope this might help some others out on changing out the ol yellows for the modern white lights!

You can't dim your lights on the 700 that's why light bar better. You can shut off light bar and use your head lights when you meet someone that are not very bright now you can't.

Yeah, guess you're right. I mostly use the pioneer during the day around the farm and occasionally at night. May get my wife to meet me on the road and see how blinding they are. Don't think they will be near as bad as the HID's.

Those are the ones. No brighter than stock, just white. Cheapest and easiest way to go.
Thanks for posting, hope giving you the part number helped you out. o_O

Thanks for your post. Gonna try them. I'd rather the color match than have dingy looking headlights...and I don't care if it blinds the wife...If you haven't pulled the trigger on a light bar I highly recommend you do. Just turns night into day.
