P700 Led rocker switch stays on

I installed a led light bar . I connected the positive to the battery. Grounded the negative with the relay. However when the machine is off the rocker switch stays lit up. How can I do it so it only lights up when key is on so it doesn't drain battery? Honda pioneer 700-4

you can wire the led on the switch off the switch itself. just wire the led wire to the same prong as the light bar. itll only turn on when you turn on the switch

I am not good at wiring, that sounds confusing lol.

you have 4 wires going into your rocker right now? should be 1 for led. 1 for ground 1 for power. and 1 for lightbar.

Yep that's right, that makes sense now. I will try that when I get home from work today. thanks

just find out which is the ground and the hot main. then just take the led wire and run it to the lightbar wire. im really thinking someone intended to do this but put the wire connectors in the wrong place. which in the right order will do exactly what your saying its doing.

if 2 prongs are connected with a jumper wire then itll be easy just means they jumped the hot wire to the led.
