So far lightest I have found is around 35 or 36 lbs anyone know of any tires lighter than that that work for our machine and are better than stock tires very 1st ride and got a flat very disappointed.
Got 2 flats in 1 tire (first one 30 minutes into first ride) and destroyed a second tire (ripped the side wall badly). decided to so with though 10-ply tire in the Mongrel, will know this weekend if the 32" effect the performance much, most say it does not, but did need to add high clearance a-arms to fit the 32s. but on concrete they don't seem to have

Yes I am but even though it’s a great price not really looking for such a large tire and the search continues.

Looking forward to your review jsticks3 as GBC Mongrel is a tire I am considering. Let me know about power loss if any with that size tire.

I had the 31" and they weighed 39.5lb and measured 30.5". On trails they were fine, but on pavement, they shook like crazy (took 14oz to try to balance). It took 5 miles for them to round back up after being parked over night.
Which tire are you referring to here?

Looking to upgrade my stock tires don’t want to lose power looking for long lasting all terrain 8 or 10 ply mostly ride in hard pack ground and rocks. But will do some Forrest trails in Colorado also.

Also has any ever measured how much ground clearance is gained from 30” tires.

Thanks in Advance.
Can 30’s be installed without aftermarket A Arms, or lifts?

Well after all the options and evaluation of my choices and wanting a tough but light tire just put my order for 30x10x15 GBC Mogrel tires.

Hopefully they will work out have high hopes at least much better than our stock 6 ply tires.

The Kanati Terra master is also light, very light for a 10 ply @ 35.4lbs in 30x10R15 . I have a set in 32” and they have been great. I’m trying some Carnivores for my next set just to try something different

I have Terra Masters. Love them, but because they are soft, they wear fairly fast. I have used up about 1/3 of the tread in 1,000 miles. That is about the same rate as the Carnivores wore on my old yxz. The Maxxix Liberties wore better, but do not hook up as well (for me at least on yxz)

Yeah, I agree. They are wearing fast. What differences did you notice between them and the Carnivores?

even though i have the sand side in, i feel the terra masters are better in sand than the Carnivore. Keep in mind, I am not a sand guy. Both were good in rocks
