P1000 Little Buddy Heater Mount

Sorry its taken awhile as I've been hunting and using the heater. I finally got some pics. I'm usually OCD and build things that work and LOOK GOOD. This was actually a thrown together early morning project that has worked so well I haven't messed with it. It just sits in the compartment below the warning label (switch panel) and sits on the seat. I ended up putting a 2x4 on the end to have it sit level. I then just screwed a 2x4 upright to attach the heater too. It makes it kind of tough getting to the switches but I usually just tell my passenger to change the radio station. I also was able to mount a horizontal fan on the top to circulate the air. It works really well, but after hunting season I might upgrade it so it LOOKS better.

It is 12 volt. I didn't know how it would actually work, but it has worked very well for the last 3 winters. Like I said, the reason I like to use my Buddy heater vs putting a built in heater in my rig, is that I can run the heater without my pioneer running. And this little fan just makes it that much better. I ended up 3d printing some mounts that the fan just slides into so I can take it off if I want.

like the Mr. Heater just picked up a second Big Buddy heater at Tractor Supply for $99.00. last year they were almost 200

I saw yesterday that our local Costco had the Little Buddy Heater with a propane hose and filter for under $100. If I remember right it was actually on sale for $79. I really thought about grabing another one but I figured my wife would say that I don't need 3 of them. It has really worked well for my rig.

As far as air blowing in through the shifter, I have the Radcustoms plates on mine. They have rubber material, available in several powdercoated colors and install without pulling the dash.
