Skipped my usual Saturday ride, but headed out Sunday due to slightly cooler weather. 96 degrees versus 98.
At what point does a wash become a Canyon...cause this one is getting close...

75 percent of our trails still look like this, was raining sat and sun morn when we were working trying to get this area more passable for stock tire machines they runined it with a logging machine last fall and 3-4 ft ruts, if it ever drys can get a couple of the guys have tlb's we can fix it more permanently but no one has been able to ride all the trails till we worked all day yesterday on clearing tops and grown in branches
we have a ride scheduled for next sun I'm sure it will be muddy, supposed to rain more this week, maybe I should trade it for a jet ski

Early spring to hell lol.
Need to head for the sky islands.
Not sure if they offer much riding, but if you figure that out let me know.
My work gives me a week off in July and December.
Not exactly choice traveling weather at this end in winter, that end in summer.

Showed my wife your picture, she's trying to convince me riding the tractor bushhogging counts as riding.
I'm not so sure....

I got to do research on maybe the area around Mount lemmon/Oracle to see if there's any decent riding. Went to top of the world a few weeks ago... First time I've ever been. Seems like it would be nice and cool, but I don't know about riding. I really do miss Chino valley and Prescott and a variety of riding to be had all year round there.
I probably will do an occasional trip up to Payson or somewhere... But gosh I am so tired by Saturday morning it's so hard to get out of bed.

The sweet desert nectar in full bloom. Finally, the heat can be felt radiating up from the ground. Triple digits close by, and it's time to head home.

The river was roaring when we went a couple weeks ago. Prescott has some really nice riding of the 69 I think its called walker road/ potato patch area

Tired of being thwarted by the river, this time I hauled to the other side to ensure that I can make a trip up Walnut Canyon.

Really? I see one just about every time I'm there.

Last week it was about 280 cfs. Today: 500 cfs. Must be raining in NM?

Prescott/Chino valley was my old stomping grounds. 8800 of the 8900 miles or so on my 700 came from that area. And you're right...good riding up there.
