Would like to remove my original rims and tires and save for winter riding. Need advice as to what would be a good setup for riding on paved surfaces. Tires and rims. Thank you.

Some people are using car tires.

You can buy car tires in 14" or 15" and you can get wheels for your pioneer in 14-15".

Use an online tire size calculator to help choose what size tire you should get.

For example: if you want to stay close to stock size tires on 14" wheels, you could get 235/60-R14 that equates to a 25.1/9.3-14" wheel.

Thanks,
I still want go off road on my property. But, I do not need a very aggressive tires as my trails are smooth and elevations are quite gradual.
I found a setup at Rocky Mountain ATCMC that includes rims with tires mounted. Carlisle All Terrain is one brand available.

Can you run 27" Mongrels on stock rims and no lift without rubbing?

Yes you can I ran my 28" tensor regulators on my 700 but had offset wheels and would only rub at full turn going over an obstacle. And it was a very lite rub.

I looked for a long time for road friendly tires even thought of 14" truck tires but considering the weight and the rig only being a 700 I thought it would be a bad idea. That said I saw a guy in a razor with some itp mudlite xtr tires that were chopped up and looked like hell and asked him if they were junk tires or what and he replied that's what 2500 miles of mostly pavement will do to them! Long story short I'm rolling on a set now and 150 miles of pavement and gravel and they are hardly worn
