I will say this was a high light of my time here on the forum. I had a great time this past week. I drove a total of 2800 miles to spend 3 days and 2 nights and 200 miles out on the trail. Thank you to everyone involved.

Camp at New River Party Area...
I have learned the posted area at the river was just the one side, the other side was in fact TWRA lands.
So yes, we could have camped there.

May have to sit next year's OL out, Dad's wanting to go to the MOM with me and stay at the CI, We'll see? He's 85 and I want to spend as much time as I can with him in the woods as long as he can go, so? But sure did have a good time this year! I'll be back!
