Question I understand adjusting valves on the 1st service but don't understand on doing it every 100 hours? Got a bill for over $500 for my 2nd service

The P700 is basically a Rincon engine in a SXS. Those engines use screw type adjuster for the valves and tend to get loose faster than the P1000 with shims.
Generally they arent super loose every 100 hours, buy id atleast like to inspect them.

Thank you - It just seems to be rather excessive, it cost me $10.00 in maintenance cost for every hour I run the 700 the first 100 hours, and now from here on out $5.00 a hour

I dont believe our services cost that much. What is the labor rate of the shop you go to?

I will be getting the bill today and will look at what the hourly rate is the 20 hour bill was about $500 not including delivery - and the 100 service to be about the exact same amount but includes pick up and delivery $65

The labor rate was 3 hours at $99.00 per hour - $120 parts the rest is taxes and shop fees - I think I will start shopping this from now on.

$120 in parts is crazy.
Other than an oil filter, couple o-rings and fluids. There isn't much more than that.
