P500 Maxxis bighorn tire report

Had the Phantom out this morning for her first drive since putting on bighorn originals. I am shocked at the difference. First the bone jarring ride with oem tires has really calmed down.Steering effort much easier. Traction is nucking futs.Sounds crazy but seems like power has improved. Only thing I can think of is rolling resistance decreased by the radial tires.Running 10 psi from Jak recommendation and seems perfect. I don't know why Honda doesn't put ripsaws bighorns backwaters etc on from factory.500 are totally different with good tires.Probably to keep the price down.

On maxxis website maximum load capacity is at 7 lbs of air.However pioneer 500 factory rims are a little narrower .Sticker on the vehicle says run 10 lbs. What do you guys recommend?

I ran the maxxis bighorns on my last ride for 4 or 5 years and I loved them, the tread life was awesome, prolly cuz i rarely let them touch the pavement.
