P1000 Maybe buying 2018 1k-5.

Dealer has a LE 2018 1k-5 that looks good. What problems did this year have. Any engine overhead problems? Anything I should look for. I don't have any info on it yet as dealer was closed yesterday Sunday. Thanks in advance..

Welcome to the club from Tennessee. I have a 2018 and have had no problems yet. Just make sure all the recalls have been done on it

it probably a has i 4x4 since it is a LE but I don't think there has been any problems with it. Some people prefer I 4x4 but I wanted a true locker so that just left the base and deluxe model

All LE's come with I-4wd for now anyways. Like Isaiah said, some people prefer a true front locker. If that don't bother you and the price is right then u should be good. As mentioned just make sure any recalls have been made and u're good to go. Either way post some pics of whatever tou get (pics or it didn't happen 😉

NTC is a club in the PUB section of the forum. Pretty serious discussions of everyday life, we take it very serious. Check it out, we ain't got time for non-sence, we ride hondas 👍

I've got a 2018 LE and it's the bomb.
Does everything a locker does.

As I understand the I4x4 system it basically leaves the front diff unlocked when in 4x4 mode and locks the diff when it senses the need for it then unlocks it when the need is gone. That’s how my dealer splained it to me. So I got the regular 4x4, I have control issues.

i prefer to shift into 4 lock when i need it,not when the machine thinks i do.prolly why i run in manual more than auto.when in auto,it's always in sport mode.

My 2017 P1K-3LE has i-4X4 and I have had no problems going all places others go. The only problem so far is the vinyl guy doesn't have the white letters for the i-4X4 shift position on the dash. He said he was working on it.

Ok, I took the plunge. Bought a 2018 w. 367 miles one it. (was a sons present to his mother who passed away unexpectedly and young), has 2 yr. warranty left on it. Full doors with glass windows all around, winch, Radio, hard top and some other nice things. Bought it for 28900 and sold it for 24000. Hopefully a good deal and a good runner for a long time.
