what do you want out of this? do they still have machine?

u can buy the arms - in a day you will be all good and it sucks u had to buy them

u can just trade the machine in, is what it is, life isn't fair

u don't want dealer to swap frame if it comes to that - what do u want them to do?
It was assembled wrong from the factory, I either want my money back or a replacement machine. I paid for a specific product and received one that was broken out of the box.

Refund or replace.

You'll either have to have the frame replaced or live with it, Honda won't do buy backs

We had a Goldwing with an engine failure in under 72hrs and they wanted the customer to just wait until it's fixed. We ended up putting him on another machine and forced them to pay the difference so we could sell his 1st unit as used after repairs.

Most states don't have lemon law/buy back protection for powersports

well the battle continues, after a couple more weeks I am still in talks with Honda mediation specialists, they are offering a complete frame swap now... 🤦‍♂️

The frame itself is on backorder and there is no expected delivery time as of yet, my real concern lies with the dealerships ability to complete the job without absolutely ruining the unit and me being left with with more problems than I started with.

The possibility of a buy back is not off the table as it needs to be discussed with the upper management team. If it comes to the point of a buy back I will likely go purchase another one, as I really do like what this machine has to offer... my only real gripes have been with Customer service and the quality of service I have received at the dealer.

I will keep everyone updated with any new information as it comes in

Let them fix it, sell it, buy an RMAX.

I still want the utility of a box on a short chassis, not to mention the RMAX is about $10,000 more

lol - if it bothered me that much and since I am as frugal as can be, the die grinder, a little slot action for clearance to move that arm out, some weld washers, zap\zap weld, spray paint and Shazam - done, probably a 2 beer job.

When I worked for American Honda Motor Company in the 70's they did buy back products that the dealer or service rep couldn't fix. They might still do buy backs, but I expect that it is rare. I would just hate a frame change and would use the adjustable arms from Superatv if that will fix the alignment problem and Honda won't do a buy back. What sucks is the time it takes to get this resolved. Good luck.

I'm here sharing my experiences and information pertaining to major issues with my machine that may also affect others here.
If I wanted a belt driven, overly heavy and mildly reliable machine I would have bought a Canned-Ham.

Sometimes, when you're a "have-not", there's this tendency to try and associate with those who "have", drool on yourself and make snide remarks. If you don't have a Honda SxS this behavior is not considered abnormal - - well except for the snide remarks part.

I do have an update regarding my case with Honda. After a long and hard fought case with Honda Canada, yesterday I dropped off my 2023 Pioneer at the dealership and picked up my new 2024 Pioneer. I followed all the proper channels and presented the facts of my case in the best manner I could which lead to the unit being replaced under warranty. It was a long process, but I happy very happy with the results and glad that we were able to come to a resolution.

Just like in the 70's Honda will still replace or do a buyback when there is a major problem.
