Had a little time to play around some in the garage. Did the paint marker thingy on the dash. Swapped halogen headlights for LEDs, and mostly fixed a gap on the CEC enclosure that blasts air right into your face. The headlights are an ok improvement, good enough for $30. For the enclosure I used 2 strong magnets on each side. They were surprisingly strong. I actually did the material between them so they would be a little easier to pull apart. The 3M adhesion promoter is a must for anything you want to stick to the rough plastic. The magnets have a little double sided sticky pad to stick to the plastic and to the magnet. I will probably either paint the magnets or sew on a piece of black material to make them blend in. Nothing big, but just some tinkering.

Good going . . . yeah, it's gonna keep you busy for awhile. In my almost 80 years, I've never bought a new vehicle I've worked on so much to get it to my liking. Oh, I like it . . . but it's still not "quite there"!

Good idea on the CEC. I have had one on my P1 for a long time. I need to do this. Do u have a link on the magnets and promotor? Also more step by step or pics of the location of the magnets on the body?

Another question is about the rubber in your shifter holes. What did u use, where did u get the material and how did u apply it?
All Looks good.

BTW, get you some LED pods, there better than than the LED replacement bulbs.

I can't take credit for the 3m adhesion promoter, stoled that idea from another member that recommended it for the lower door seals using the ultimate truck tailgate seal and double sided peel and stick. It is a must to get anything to stick to the rough plastic. Stuff is pretty legit. Door seals are not perfect, but stopped probably 80-90% of the air flowing in at speed.

Either later today or tomorrow I am going to try to wire in some little led light bolts on the dash pointing down to the factory unlit switches(Honda should have definitely used backlit switches) especially for the headlights. Nothing worse than feeling around in the dark trying to find the damn headlight rocker.

Mine is a 2022 and Honda must have finally decided to help with the shifter holes. The seal is from the factory. I will snap some better pics of the magnets location here in a little while, but here are the link to the promoter and magnets.
