P1000 Motorbike Alarm Installation

Hey,

I was thinking about adding a motion based motorcycle alarm like this - Amazon.com: Alarm for Motorcycles, Scooters & Quad Bikes 12V Universal DIY: Automotive

Seems like you just tap into 12v positive and earth - but I assume you would do this before the key on? How would you do that on the piooner 1000-5?

Could I wire it direct to battery? Red to red, black to black - seems too simple?
