P500 Moving AT/MT switch??

is it possible to move the AT/MT switch on the dash? Im wanting to get a rocker switch cluster and was wondering if anyone has re-located that switch to make room. I just installed the box so putting there is not an option and i didnt want to put a bunch of random switches all over the place.

Yes it can be moved, but personally, I would think through putting switch in another area vs moving it. I suspect there are many great ideas in this group willing to share pictures/thoughts and offering this one Honda Pioneed 500 Dash Plate Switch Panel

Look at the roll bar mounted switch panel in the club store. I have the glove box too, and this panel solved the switch location problem.

this might work. going to look at it again this weekend to see what I want to do. i didnt know this was available. i really dont want to cut into the dash and commit to something that size so this is a really good option.

I ordered this from Amazon and have had no issues with it. I’ve sprayed it with a pressure washer with zero issues afterward. I believe it was around $30. I mounted it to the front overhead roll bar in the center.

Does the base plate have to move with it or is that only for the labeling? I'm considering moving mine to the area to the right of the headlight switch but would prefer to just drill a hole and mount it.

I think it has to but I honestly don’t remember, moved it about 2 years ago.

wanted to share the link of the mounts I used. these are pretty good, i also use them to mount my rear rack since they are adjustable for the roll cage and the rear rack.

I decided to move mine to where the cigarette power port was. The hole is the exact same size. Only had to mark and drill 3 holes for the retainer/label plate. Harness reaches perfect as well.

Eventual plans are to use the existing cigarette power lead to power my USB/cigarette ports I will be installing in my Goochbox.

I wanted the dash real estate where the MT/AT switch was for my bluetooth stereo control panel and winch rocker. I like to be able to use both modes for various reasons, and having the switch out of the way but still accessible is perfect for this.

I used this switch plate from Crossroads3d. It is excellent and replaces the dash warning label. Easy to install and easy to access.
