I'm new to the Side by Sides. I'm coming out of the truck 4x4. I got a Pioneer 1000 for hunting in. What would be a good mud tire for the Mississippi Delta gumbo mud? The old Buckshot or Co-op bias tires were the tires to have back in the day for trucks. I would like something comparable to them.

Anything that looks aggressive will pull decently well. The way they make these tires now with 2" + tread depths its hard to pick a bad one. IMO it's just more of a look preference. I had the dealer put SuperATV Intimidators on mine. Had it gumbo this past weekend and they pulled great. Only problem is getting all the blue off afterwards!

staying on top just like in a truck you want a more flat tread and wide. if you have alot of issues with off angle sliding your gonna want to go with a more angled tread. these bikes will slide just like a truck will sometimes worse in some cases mixed with flat tire tread.

Maxxis, ITP, High-lifter and Sedona all make exceptional mud tires.

Man its hard to beat the outback max's as long as you go 32s or smaller and have good air pressure they also ride smooth

Agreed. I have 31” and my
Buddy has 30” and we both run around 12psi. Little bumpy on hard stuff but only until 8mph then they smooth out very nicely

I just put ITP Mudlite 2 on mine. Got 2 27x11x14 I will be selling once I get my 27x9x14 in. Had the 11s all the way around and putting 9” wide on front for better steering. Also have the Honda Oem windshield for sell also.

I don't have the maxs but my out backs are exceptional in muddy conditions also. They do have the 1and 1/8 inch tread depth , they do well in every thing.
