Here's my home made roof,
3/8" abs plastic.(needed 2 4x8 sheets, with lots of waste.)
Some pipe clamps
Stainless hardware
Alum H channel

Put the sheet in my buddies brake, and heated it with 3 heat guns at once, until it would bend, in order to bend the front visor. The rear corners were heated and bent by hand.

Total cost $125. And very little work really 53d9ffea459a540d36762b8c3398360aD9419da572c7d49028acdbd867d474b5D3c34b4b06a283e2849b92cbbfea2a8e1ce2f5d0616a90e34c3b1ccd5b131e1d

I thought about messing with plastic on mine but it's just not in my comfort zone. I even own a brake but still thought I'd end up butchering it. Nice job longtrack!
It took lots of heat to get that to bend!! But it wanted to bend nice and straight, on its own, so that helped. We actually clamped a section of PVC pipe in the fence, so that the fence Edge didn't dig in the plastic when I got hot

I may get another sheet, and redo that rear section. So that those dog dog-ear Corners match the Contour of the cage better. That was kind of an oversight, the rear panel is cut square, those Corners shrunk iin when I bent them

Wow very nice and $125 to boot. That ain't bad at all. Sure beats what I paid for the Honda roof.

Both roofs look good but I think I'd miss my roof tree slider. The factory roof smooth and radius'd edge wrap is hard to beat when you're stuck in tight places and the upper cage makes contact with trees and branches.
