The morning of the storm, I thought I was the center of the destruction. I had power poles and lines down everywhere. The creek was flooding, and trees down everywhere you looked. I have 200+ trees down on my property. After we were able to get out the following day, I realized I was lucky. I’m doing pretty good now. There’s still a lot of people hurting around here. Sad situation.
Planning on using the 1000-5 to help get the trees cleaned up…eventually. Hopefully I’ll be able to connect with some people and have fun on some trails along the way. For me, the base should serve me well for the short term. I’m sure I’ll add things as I see I “need” them, lol.
