I'm currently making my way through his Trifecta build post. I still have 6 weeks before mine will be here so plenty of time to fill the brain with knowledge and empty the wallet ordering must have add ons.

There’s quite a bit in there but I’m sure there are things I missed along the way.

I joined Honda Side by Side last year as I was researching and have a 1000-5 Deluxe being shipped 3/30. I've been doing a LOT of reading and ordering. My wife keeps asking, what did you order now, when another package or two arrive at the house. I ordered the OEM roof and the dealer will have that on when I pick it up. I already have a winch, light bar/cubes, bed mat, mirrors, tie down system for the trailer(still need to purchase the trailer, lol), switch panel, roll bar grab handles, slow moving vehicle sign and a few other minor items including the HondaSxS key on power harness. I plan to add a second battery and that's one thing I've been reading a lot about. I can do wiring with instructions but far from an expert. I'll be asking questions eventually and have friends who have offered to help too. From what I've seen you all have a great club and website here. Thanks for all the info I've gotten so far.

Welcome from Central IL! We have to have the slow moving sign as well to be street legal. A few zip ties around the plastic muffler cover & it is on and out of the way.

Welcome from New Mexico! I'm also rather new. I've had my 1k5 for less than month now but my wife has also been asking what I ordered rather frequently. So far I've added dual battery kit, switch panel, and rear view mirror. My side mirrors and winch came in yesterday but waiting for the KFI mounting plate. Congrats on your p1k, bet you can't wait to get in that seat!

I did the same thing! But I had the dealer install my accessories since they were already installing the winch & hardtop. Also, from everything I’ve researched-replace the cable with synthetic rope on your winch. Good luck and great riding.

If you get a turn signal kit spend the extra money and get the plug and play kit from XTC

Go ahead and order you a set of injector wiring repair kits from Honda side by side you will not be sorry to have a spare set in your tool kit.

Oh, I know that well enough. But we have a travel trailer that I’ll be pulling and we had to get the wife a bigger SUV so she can pull the SXS when we take it camping. Definitely never ending.
