Truly appreciate your time on this man. Honda needs to hook you up with a stipend for your efforts.
Just went and tested my project again. Its a 2016.
Unplug the Blue connector at the thermostat, key-on. fan did not come on.
"Crankt'ed" it... Fan came on imminently.
If this fails...
I would do the 12v test I mentioned to ensure we have a working fan.
It's on backward.
Crunk Juice!@Bastardchild has been using it for years.
I'd go ahead an put the override switch from the club store. Won't have to depend on the fan kicking on early or not.My Pioneer 1000-5 had an issue; one of the fan leads became disconnected and it overheated. After it was re-connected, it was fine. I actually have two 1000-5's and on other one, they needed to adjust the fan to kick it on quicker. We were taking some heavier folks up some pretty steep mountains and It overheated. After the adjustments were made by the dealership, all has been fine.
I love the machines.
To properly conjugate the verb, it's crink, crank, and crunk. To avoid further confusion, please use the correct tense.Just went and tested on my project P1k..
Unplugged the blue plug on top of the thermostat.
Cranked it... It struggled to crank.
But the fan came on as soon as it crunk.
