Purchased a ‘14 700-2 earlier this year. Came with a roof. Added OEM tilt windshield and rear panel. Starting the Aux battery/fuse block today. For anyone looking for a place to mount the Aux battery, a few threads on here already showing the location, but another won’t hurt! Super simple location, near the OEM location. My plan is to mount a HDPE battery holder, marine, to the plate. Pictures will follow along! Hopefully this helps someone else down the road!

Started the wiring yesterday. Question for all, what ga. wire would yinz run from the aux battery to the pos/neg distribution terminals I added? The plan is to power a winch directly from the added posts, in addition to the aux fuse block. I originally was going to run 4ga, but I’m considering 2ga or more...

Looks good, I used 4ga wire, it’s plenty heavy.
I completed with 2ga. I want to power the winch from the added terminal post, and would rather be safer then sorry.

Big shout to @Tim-700! He is hooking me up with commander shocks! Can’t wait to get them installed! If anyone has a connect for the bushing/sleeve kit needed to install the rears, I will be much obliged! He has given me the polybushing website, but I’m hoping to get an all-in-one stop shop kit. Thanks again Tim!

Would these work for the rear commander shock swap?
14mm OD 12mm ID. Not sure on length, but can order long then trim to fit.

Thanks Russ! I contacted them. He doesn't have something readily available, but is looking into it.
Good deal.

That's actually exactly what I sent the guys over at @RB3offroad. I am hoping they can hook me up with both the bushings and the sleeves.
THE GUYS SAID THEY COULD, CALL ME AT 480-389-7486. IT WONT BE THIS WEEK, ALOT ALREADY ON THE MACHINES!

Another successful P700 Can-Am conversion! HUGE Thank you to @Tim-700 & @RB3offroad! RC 54” curved Light bar gets delivered tomorrow! Will be tested last weekend in July!

What are everyone’s thoughts on removing the sway bar? Clearance to the new shocks is maybe 3/8” of an inch resting.

Rough Country’s light pods installed! These things are bright!! Headed up Emlenton PA the end of the month to test out the Commander suspension, then Mines & Meadows 2 weeks after. Going to install a winch beforehand the M&M trip. Installing Rhino axles in the front, in hopes that the CV’s won’t bind at full droop. They claim 30% more articulation. Keeping the OEMs as spares, afternoon a boot replacement.

Note: You do NOT have to remove the ball joints when replacing front axles, as described in the shop manual. Simply remove the lower control arm bolts and swing the hub out of the way! Easy peezy. Rhino axles installed and no more bind! Waahoooooo
