I couldn't find this addressed anywhere on the forum so here goes.
As I use the 520 more and more the shifting has slowly started to become a bit less harsh.
Today I took it up the road around the neighborhood since it was such a nice day here (80°)
Once the 520 gets up to speed and it is "freewheeling" it gets noisy, like the gears aren't meshed tightly.
It is most noticeable when you let off the accelerator or going downhill on a gradual slope
Usually my uses are around the property rather than on the road so the noise isn't there.
Anyone else notice this issue?

I don't have much luck with the search either, and I'm not trying to be an ass, but this really has been discussed a lot on this forum and others. Like has been said in short: it is normal.
There are things that help. I think the number one suggestion is to switch to synthetic gear oil. This seems to help, a little, but I think you'll learn to live with it.

You are not alone. Try a search of Noisy Gears or similar within this forum. Some of us switched to 90w/140 Mobil 1 for front and rear diffs lubricant. Best of luck and welcome to the forum.
