It is time to replace my OEM tires and I have been looking at 26" tires. I was also looking at 27's but I am pretty sure they will rub the Honda fender flares that I put on. Now I am wondering if 26's might do that.

Does anyone have the OEM flares and oversized tires? Did you have issues with tires rubbing on turns?

Thanks for the help.

I have the OEM flares and have 26x9x12 and 26x11x12 on my rig with no issues at all. I don't believe it is even close to coming in contact but I check tonight.

I have the same.. 26" ripsaw tires and OEM flares...no problems... I don't think 27" tires would rub either..

Remember, all tires are different even if they say...26" or 27" or whatever..they will measure out a little different and sometimes a lot different.. Just FYI

Yes, but also remember, if I buy 27s and put them on and they rub, I am screwed so I need to be sure and not just "I don't think"

I just upgraded my tires, STI Rocktane XD 26 x9-R12 front and 26x11-R12 in the rear with STI bead lock HD rims. Love the ride now. Should have done it sooner. 0090c2318711bbc4faaed02a67fafb07

Checked my 26" tires and I have about 3 fingers (2.5") behind the tire and the flare. I am running stock everything except went to a little bigger Maxxis Ceros tires. I also run them with a higher pressure, about 15, so this will take up a little clearance. I can't speak for 27" but I have plenty of room with my setup.

Thanks everyone. I decided to go with 26 and not risk the 27s. I appreciate the feedback.
