Honda hasn't come out with a sport UTV, there present P-1 line up doesn't have trailing swing arms and down swept front a arms or long travel suspension with acceptable shocks, other than the entry level Foxes on the stock frame, that are way better than the shocks that came on my 16 P-1 Deluxe. To put the a arm up grades and the right tires and wheels will cost me $ 5'300.00. And still have a short travel suspension rig, so my thinking is take the $ 5,300.00 and some boot and get what I want, just wish I could put the Honda transmission in a Cann Am.

I won’t boo you. I agree. If I had the $$$ I’d have a sport machine and my P1K-5. Due to lack o funds, I’ll keep the Pioneer.

Can Am is really close to putting out what the public wants, just needs to add long travel and trading a arms to there bedded model 900.

Polaris is covered in Recalls and Can-Am hasn’t taken the market yet.

I spent last Saturday riding with my 80 year old Dad who rode his Honda Rincon and I took the P-1, rode thirty mile, 20 easy trails and 10 really gnarly. We had a great time. We are planning to ride all winter with the temps in the 40'ies. And he lead, only times I could catch him was on really rough up and down hills, gosh, I'm going to spend as much time as I can riding with him, he won't be able to do this forever!

I've been waiting and waiting on Honda but... we all know the rest of the story. I'm also waiting on Yamaha to drop that 850 into the R-Spec, then I may be jumping on one of those.

I'm not going to buy another Honda until they produce a S x S that I want. The LE's are really nice, but my up graded 16 Deluxe has got them beat, bad!

Same old story.. no perfect machine for all situations. I’m like the rest of you. There are times i’d really like to have a nice sport bike. I’ve put enough $$$ into it to get it closer to that hybrid but at some point you have to call it quits and say enough is enough. You’re crazy if you put another 5k into it!

Yep! I would be interested in an after market frame with rear trailing arms and improved front a arms that all the stock compoints would bolt up to!

If i didnt need a 5 seater, I wouldnt have the Pioneer, Would much prefer lower center of gravity and longer travel suspension. But there is nothing out there that can fit my family and not be a mile long. I love Honda, and will continue to ride this until my kids are old enough to trail ride in their own machine. Hoping by then Canam or Yamaha has something more up my alley as those are my brands of choice.
