I got into restoring, collecting, and selling antique saws 6-7 years ago and it was a nice income supplement. Bad thing is, I had a hard time selling and got to well over 100. If I can find a pic I'll post it in the off topic forum. I follow 3 saw forums, this forum, and a custom flashlight forum. HondaSXS knows about those custom lights after camping at TopTrails.

Can you elaborate on what a custom flashlight is??? I feel like I want one

I know a guy that helps me build a light to my exact specs. Pick the size of light, it's use, color temp, lumen output, and lux output. I have a AAA pocket light that puts out over 500 lumen. It's brighter than 4-4D Maglights. Then you can pic the material it's made of, Alum, titanium, gold plated, copper, brass, etc

Or, I have a light that will throw a beam a mile and it's the same size as a 2D Maglight.

On a foggy night, it looks way cool.

Holy cow those flashlights are awesome!! I gonna have to get some...can I get them custom to were they would fit rifle mounts? The custom flash light made me think of the mag lights turned into "solvent traps" for rifles!)

I also like metal fab (welding etc.) and recently I've been dabbling in machining metal as well.

Sounds like you and I would get along real well. We have a lot of similar hobbies.
