I'm into military vehicles. I've had three in recent years. The first picture was my 5 ton M925A2 ROPS truck it has the 8.3 liter Cummins turbo diesel with a 5 speed Allison automatic. It also has a full roll cage. The second is the militaries latest iteration, the 7 ton MTVR. 500 hp Cat C12 turbo diesel, Allison 7 speed automatic, air lockers on each axle, fully independent suspension, weapons platform with turret, a real beast of a vehicle. The third picture is my current ride, a M929A2 dump truck. Drive train is the same as the 925. It is going to be very useful, unlike the two previous grocery getters🤣. All three trucks have the CTIS tire inflation system where you can control the tire pressures from inside the cab.

I'd say the MTVR is the best of the bunch.

It's definitely the most advanced of the bunch. Problem is, there are no parts available for them yet and when you can find what you need it is incredibly expensive. I've heard of people paying 5 grand for two doors.

I scored a new to me Hercules 3.5 HP Hit and Miss engine. Started up first try! There’s a brass plate up top with the info. I ran out of light will post more pics soon! I’m assuming it’s anywhere from 1890’s to the 1920’s.

I need an evening/poor weather indoor hobby to keep my mind at ease. Waaaay back in the 90’s I used to dabble in Native American Plains Indian reproductions of their dress, art and weapons of war. I also made this breast plate. It’s made up of leather, hair pipe bone beads, horn and both red and black glass beads, all strung together on one line of artificial sinew. The tiny glass bead belt in blue red and orange was made on a bead loom and is about 4’ long. It too has seen better days. Add a couple of abalone shell medallions, with some exotic Nanday conjure feathers and you have a breast plate. Way back then I did some art gallery showings and sold quite a few pieces. I need that creative bent again. Btw, does anyone know where I can get some nicely done, quality tanned elk hides? I’d like to finish this with sleeves and pants. I’m not a loincloth kind of guy.
