Outdoor Christmas light clips/hooks

Trying to avoid stapling my lights since we replaced the trim after a storm last year. I used the plastic shingle clips before and got so aggravated with them coming loose that I just stapled the lights to the old trim pieces. Anybody got any clips that work? I don't have gutters so I'd need them to clip to the shingle. I bought some 3M clips but they fell off before I even got the front of the garage done. Need to get them up this week to keep the villagers at peace...

Thanks, tried those before too with no luck . My shingles don't have much overhang and the clips don't like to stay on because there isn't much for them to leverage against. I just ordered these after looking around on Amazon for the last 45 minutes or so:

Thanks, tried those before too with no luck . My shingles don't have much overhang and the clips don't like to stay on because there isn't much for them to leverage against. I just ordered these after looking around on Amazon for the last 45 minutes or so:

Just move to the country put up gate to keep the honest people out and place your house far enough off the road it can’t be seen and all you need is a couple wreaths and a Christmas tree inside.

Just move to the country put up gate to keep the honest people out and place your house far enough off the road it can’t be seen and all you need is a couple wreaths and a Christmas tree inside.

I found the land we bought it then built a few years later, wish I’d built a shop and pool at same time....

my wife is city slicker, first few weeks she was complaining it was TOO QUIET, came home one afternoon to find her sitting on back porch listening to crickets.

I laughed, she told me to shut up because I was right the quiet is MAGICAL.
