P1000 P-1000-5 Wheel and Tires

Hi,
My new Honda P 1000-5 came with Black Stone tires. I just put in 100 miles. Not sure they if they are radial tires and or what ply ? Worry about reliability?
Wondering if I can upgrade all 4 wheels and tires W/ SIZE 27-11x12 on my Honda 1000-5? Atleast 8 ply tires.
We going Elk Hunt at FlatTops -Colorado and so snow and muddy trails can be nasty

I wore out 4 sets of black stone tires on 2 different 1000s. About 1200 miles out of each set. I avoid blacktop as much as I can but have to ride a few miles to get to trails. I have the 28x10x12 evos on the stock 12 inch wheels now. I probably got 1500 miles on them now. I will probably get at least 500 more miles out of them. I cut 1 evo sidewall. I replaced it with a new tire and have the cut 1 for a spare now. I only had like 4 flats with the 4 sets of black stones so they are a pretty decent tire. I would buy another set of black stones tires with wheels, if i find them for $300 or less.

For what they are, they are fine.

I found some deluxe rims with bighorn take offs, which is why I don’t run them any more.

The front wheel alignment is what is hardest on the first set of tires. In 600 mi my base blackstone fronts we’re looking pretty tough.

The Blackstone tires are a bit lacking for snow plowing however.

They will fit but u will be 1 inch wider in the front and 1 inch more narrow in the rear. That is 2 inches different but i hardley noticed it. It wont hurt anything to ride it like that. I rode probably 400 miles like that. I finally added 1 inch spacers to the rear, to even it back out just because. The last 600 miles I've ended up putting the 1 inch spacer in the front and added a 2 inch spacer to the rear for a little more stability. If it starts eating bearings with the spacers, I will take them off. Im at 5400 miles and I've only changed 3 wheel bearings so far.
