Ok so I’ve had my P1000 front springs on now for 6 months and over all been happy with them compared to stock mainly because they don’t bottom out on hard hits. My only gripe is they are significantly stiffer for just putting around and there is hardly any upward compression when on trails as you can see by the photo i included. Wondering if doing a coil spring spacer on the stock front springs would be a bit softer than the P1000 springs?? As for the rear they are great. Thoughts.

I installed spring spacers on my stock front shocks. It stiffened them up a lot. I don't know if they are more than a 1000 shock though. For $20 on Amazon you could try it. You wouldn't be out much money if you didn't like it.

Sounds good. I might just make some spacers and maybe modify the height (shorten) them until they start to bottom out on hard hits? @WagginTail 1. how tall are the spacers you have? 2. how much lift did they give? 3. Do you have any bottoming off issues still?

1" thick spacers and they gave me 2" of lift. They do not bottom out at all. Maybe you could make some 1/2" thick and try that. I would be interested to know how those do.

I put 1/2" spacers on mine and have not bottomed them out, but I don't ride all that hard either. I mainly did them to compensate for the extra weight of the winch, heater and anything else added to the front end.
