Sorry for the delay on this guys, my company has had this cheap little FLIR camera for about a year now and I just figured I'd take some time today to take some pictures. I say cheap because it's a FLIR ONE for the IPhone. It was $250 which is a lot cheaper than some. I see now that they offer some more options and don't even sell the one that we have. They range from $199-400 that are phone compatible.
Any way, I run the pioneer for about an hour today doing a lot of full throttle runs after repairing the power commander. I was not using the bilge fan so the motor was heating up the cabin pretty good. The temperature is in the mid 90s today with the heat index of over 100. I do have a heatshield under the seat that runs all the way up the back. The black that you see in the camera images are out of range which means it's 250° or higher.
Here is the rear winch under the muffler. I was worried that the synthetic rope may degrade from this heat. I'm not sure if it's going to get hot enough to have to worry about it after how I run it today. It could get hotter with more cargo and slower driving.
This is the right side of the winch at the gears

I stepped back for a view
