Dealer called me today after I asked them to contact honda directly. Long story short, service manual is wrong and the correct lash for exhaust side is .009 between the cam and roller .011 between the valve and tappet.

I have a 2020 pioneer 1000-5 and am having trouble finding a good valve shim kit anyone have any suggestions?

Wow. No kidding. They must have been pretty far out of adjustment.
