I ran 11's on all four for a bit, they can be a little floaty through the turns. Nothing you can't get used to but the front end didn't bite like the 9's did. FWIW I found that running a little higher psi in the front helped. It's what I'm doing now with 10's on all four.
I'm sure I will experiment over the summer and fall. I don't mind the float around our property; it climbs over the logs and roots better and I get a bit more traction climbing the ravine behind the house. We don't do any high speed runs.

I lowered the pressure that much after we rode around the mountains near Leadville and Aspen. Lots of rocks and to high of tire pressure in the stock tires made it a bit punishing. Bigger tires with less pressure feels really good now.

As always, thanks for the advice.

I had those same bead locks on a RZR, they hold excellent but make sure you use a torque wrench on the bolts as they break easy.View attachment 281060View attachment 281061View attachment 281062

These are Maxxis Bighorn 3.0 tires. These are designated as rear tires, but I wanted to run the same size all the way around. 27" x 11" x 14" on Tusk beadlock wheels, 14" x 7", 4/100, 5+2 I run 7psi on this radial tire and it rides great. A little loud, at moderate speeds: 12-20mph. Above that, you only hear engine and exhaust with a slight hum.

You do get more flotation through the sand and snow with the wides, that was a bonus for me. And the fact that they look BA!

I don't think there's anything available aftermarket that's just a bolt on, you'll have to fab your own bracket for the location you choose. I mounted one on the back of the bed I built. @bowhunterbill just made one for the back of his. Other than that just threaded rod, nuts and washers.

I posted pictures of the project in Accessories and Modifications section. Mine is mounted on a Dusty Dawgs rack.

I decided to swap tires, i was running swamplites.I tossed the idea of going to 28's but stayed with 27's. The Rip-Saws i wanted only come in 14" dia. above a 26" height, tried to find the black steel wheels in 14" for months but no luck so i went with these wheels. The tires are 27x9x14 & 27x11x14. We'll see how they do.

Tusk Mud Force 26-9-12 front and 26-11-12 rear tires on ITP Delta 12 inch steel wheels with a 5-2 offset. Width is now 52 inches front and 51.5 inches rear. Ground clearance increased about 1 inch as well as the height of the vehicle. First gear is more usable and top speed is up nearly 3mph. This is a great combination. The little Pioneer feels more stable and offers a better ride than stock. Traction is also improved over the stock tires. The tires ride smoothly on hard pack trails, gravel roads and asphalt. I have not tried in mud or sand yet. Durability is yet to be known as I just installed them. The tires/wheels are about 9 pounds more than stock per tire both front and rear. My stock tires were about 125 pounds for all four and these weigh about 161 pounds for all four.

Hunting season is over for me so it’s time to get ready for atv parks and trail riding. I decided to push my luck and got some 30x9x14 BKT’s and so far so good. They barely rub at full lock but I’m hoping I can find some steering stops to fix that

I upgraded to Interco Sniper 920’s 27x9 on the front and 27x11’s on the rear. I would HIGHLY recommend these tires. DOT rated smooth ride, go great through snow and mud and are great for climbing. Running on stock rims, no spacers, no rubbing. However these do measure 26” at 10psi. I don’t feel like it’s more tippy than it was before, which wasn’t bad at all. I farm in the Palouse hills of Eastern WA so there’s plenty of hillside terrain to test it on.

And yes my temporary “cab” is shrink wrap 😂 it works damn good for keeping the breeze out, full cab coming mid march from alumilite armor!

If it fits it ships! Getting in and out looks to be less than desirable but once inside I bet it stays warm.

Hello all,
Brand new 520 owner, and looking to put some better off-road tires on that give a little more height, but maintain the 50 inch width. (Hunting trails I use were ruthlessly cut by my trapper buddy to be 50 inches wide only). wanting to just use stock rims.

Thanks

This is the first question every new P5 owner has asked only to have their bubble burst. The subject has been beat to death around here for yrs and it's not recommended. Common knowledge is if you go up you have to go out or just leave the ride height alone. You can do it but the machine performs like sh** and you're asking for trouble.
Oh and welcome to the forum, pics or it didn't happen. 👮‍♂️

I like bighorn2 tires. Mine have 6,000 miles on them and they are about half worn. i put 26” on. They help with the ride and are light too.
