I just bought a 2021 1K5 LE and am planning on adding a few accessories that require switches. So, I bought the PBR switch panel and really do not want to use the rivets to fasten it to the dash. I've looked through the forum and haven't found any ideas....I'd like to have access to the back of the panel just in case I have to do any work on the back of switches....any ideas or links to other discussions?

You can easily access the back of the panel from under the hood and pop your rockers out or whathaveya with the rivets provided.. I’ve swapped out and added rockers once installed with no issues..

I just installed their panel yesterday and say I really like the build.

I used the rivets, the back is pretty easy to get to, but if you need to pull it just drill them out and install new rivets. Or if you end up having to pull it more than you would like replace the rivets with something easier to pull the panel.

Drill out rivet holes with 5/16 drill bit and use the 8mm plastic body rivets to install plate. That's how I've done mine on P700

I drilled out the rivets that holds the warning label on, then installed 10-32 rivet nuts and bolted it on using black stainless steel button head screws. Matches all the rest of the factory hardware. (other than being metric, but u cant tell that by eye anyway.)

I was worried that the push pins wouldn't hold the panel tight against the dash enough to prevent rattling, but I guess this isn't the case? Does anybody experience rattling using push pins?

I didn't want to rivet mine down, either, so I used M5 screws. I didn't use any fasteners on the back side because I couldn't get my big ol hands in there. No issues, though.

do yourself a favor and order some of these because the rocker switches provided suck.
