About to move to Pennsylvania and was wondering if anyone on here is near or familiar with Altoona, Johnstown area? 74 miles east of Pittsburgh is where I am moving. Im purchasing a trailer so I can take this new 500 to meet and greets. Let me know who is somewhat close.

I'm about and hour from you but I ride mostly private land. As far a clubs and riding areas. Mines and meadows is really cool. They have and old mine you go into.I belong to a club called ICV.
It's probably a good hour from you.You should load up and come to the takeover.... Meet a pile of folks on here.

Just noticed this post is 3 years old:D

I’m only about 40min from Altoona in Curwensville. I’m definitely up for doing some riding with you!

I know this is an old thread. But it would be nice if any Pa members would post rides in their area. We have a few people who ride together and don't mind driving a bit to enjoy a good ride.

We're new to the group with a 2021 1000-5 Pioneer. Looking to trailer a bit in 2022. Wife dog, and i. Our abilities are better than average. We're interested in rides with challenge, good sights, refreshments, and good times. Raised a farm kid, with property in Somerset County, but live in Lancaster. Looking to weekend anywhere within 4 hour travel. Any recommendations, any group rides welcome too.

Welcome Farm5G
I live a couple counties north, in Schuylkill.
New myself, bought a 700-4 last year but was crazy busy and didn’t get time to go anywhere.
I have a few places I’d like to try out this year.
It is a shame the closest place to me has a ridiculous membership cost.

But think I may try out these 2 since they offer a day pass.

Reading Anthracite only offers a one time day pass to try it out before they make you purchase a membership….but at least you can check it out first before dropping a membership fee on a place you may not like.
