I’ve had my Pioneer 700 for nearly two years and I can’t deal with it anymore. It’s on my property in New Mexico and most of my riding is 8-10K feet elevation. Without a low range it lacks the ability to climb the steppes. I’ve gotten into dangerous situations on multiple occasions. So I’m going to sell it. I already have a Pioneer 1000-3 and have used it up there with no problems. At least the new one will have the clutch and cabin heat dealt with.

These things are getting as expensive as cars.

Congrats... but you should really keep the 700 and fully test it’s capabilities on the tough stuff. Push it to its limits and really get a feel for it! If you’re not rolling off a mountain then it can do more!

Well, like I said, I’ve used it for two years and satisfied myself that it’s not suited to the need.

Did you put an O2 sensor on it? That will fix it...

I have an '18 1000-3 also. The seat heat problem is ... to a certain degree, still there. It's not real bad, but after some time working it, the heat is noticeable.
I'll be adding a fan and possibly more insulation.

s*** dude! That gives it a low range? :)
No, but according to internet experts, the 2015 and up don't have these issues due to having an O2 sensor. If yours is one of those years, you may have to add a 2nd one.
Or you can keep some place lower. It really is a much different machine closer to earth.

A 1000-5 really, why? The only benefit I see in a 5 over a 3 is being able to haul the dogs when Melissa is with us and maybe resale? I do like the longer roof, I had a P 3 roof on Rooster for a while, but every thing got soaked in the back and I like the rear rop's

Oh I know, I’ve been keeping up with everyone’s reports on the mater. Just looking at it though I can see there’s improvement, but like you, I’ll be doing a fan as well. Thanks.

Well, another thing about my New Mexico issue for me was friends coming over and not being able to ride. That problem is solved too.

Lol, I hear you. I’ve had my P5 up there too and notice some lack of power, but, with a low range, no issues. The fault with the 700 is NO LOW RANGE. But that’s strictly my opinion. Want a 700? I have one for sale with around a thousand miles on it?

What's the 700 worth? I could see the 700 deleted from the line, when the Talon comes out, IF? The P 5's defiantly will have staying power, with a little tweeking!
