P1000 Pioneer 1000-5 factory half doors without removing full door frame

I was fortunate enough to buy my pioneer with the Honda full doors but as summer gets closer I know it will get too hot in the cab so I came up with these factory half door front hinge relocation mounts and a new latch so that I can utilize my normal half doors without having to dismantle the frame work that is required with the full doors. Now depending on weather I can switch back and forth between doors in only a few minutes 👍🏻

Did you fab these mounts yourself, or someone else is making them? Definitely interested in how you were able to do this, especially for fall and spring riding.

I made them myself out of a piece of 1/8” x 6” flat bar and a cut off wheel to cut out the shapes I needed. I bent them using a vice and hammer, pretty crude tools but with a nice grinding disk they cleaned up well and function great 👍🏻
