Hello everyone. New to this site. Looking for some help with my 1000. Parked in around 7 months ago for the winter, started if a few times to keep it fresh. Tried to start it yesterday, battery dead. Jumped it with s charger. Runs ok but won't go into any gear. Ran fine when Parked. Wondering if anyone has any idea. Thank you for looking.

Also need pics of the rig to start off so we know your not a Poo Poo infiltrator. Youve been here since 21’ so u should know.
Pics Or It Didnt happen!

Welcome from Michigan BTW

Get a new battery, the DCT needs a fully charged well working system to operate. Also check your grounds and make sure no mice have chewed them.

^^ This. Poor grounds and bad batteries are the DCT's nemesis.

If you don't keep a proper battery maintainer or fully charge the battery at least monthly when storing for that long, you're going to have longevity issues with vehicle batteries. Starting and running for 15 minutes every couple months will NOT help.

Further, if you don't run it to full operating temperature when you DO start it every other month, you're actually hurting the engine (moisture must be heated out).

If storing that long, disconnect or remove the battery (for charging). All it takes is even the smallest parasitic drain and its gonna ruin a good battery.
