It looks like it'll work fine. Nice job thinking 'outside the box'. It's always worth repeating but keep everything tight. And most plow, mount, and frame damage comes from overzealous stacking. Repaired two trucks this week. Tractors and loaders love stacking. Easy and fun for 'em in their off season. Know your rig and thaw and inspect when you can. BEATS SHOVELING!

Hopefully the p500 will help.
I’m in Barrie Ontario, on Lake Simcoe.
I’ll take more pics tomorrow once I get the 2 u bolts on... I’m going to cut the bolts down in length too so they aren’t so long. They should only be about 5mm past the nut.
Some one in another thread that he only got 2'' clearance underneath with his kolpin ..is it really that low...And guess what the $100 off is finished back to regular price. Damm, but good news is it's 20% off so it $359 instead of $349.still a good price for what i need..time to go shopping..I use to live in T.O. back in the 80's use to do a lot of skiing up in Blue Mountain ,Lot of fun..

I’ll have to measure mine, I think I still have about 4 inches to 5 inches. I’m also running 27 inch tires though. That raises the machine a little bit too.

I was snoopin' around the Boss website this week looking at mounts for the ATV V-plow. Could be doable. Pricey unit for sure but my snow can be well 'set up' before I can get away to deal with it. Get 'er all warmed up in shed, V it, and rip till ya hit the road. The '1000 screw' tires will help too.

Well the build is finally finished. I have managed to modify a KOPLIN switch blade ATV plough kit into a highlift UTV plough...
I had to do some adjustments today to the brackets, the u bolts that come with the kit need to be cut down so they don’t interfere with the tilt of the plough if you want to lift high.
You will see a picture later with the stock bolt beside my cut down bolt. Everything else went well. I now have 22 inches of lift straight or 26 inches if the blade is set fully to the left or right on the high side.
The plough frame does not interfere with the tires whatsoever at full lock. If anyone has any questions about my install please feel free to PM me. Here are some pics of the finished product. It took a little bit of work to make it fit correctly, but $350 is pretty darn cheap to end up with a highlift plow. I added a pair of KFI plow markers from Royal Distributing for $15.

Cool pics helps out a lot..I notice in pic # 7 the mount is bending the metal,i seen pics of some mount that use spacers to compensate for the skid plate, like in this pic showing a kolpin mount for the Pioneer...
https://www.kolpin.com/media/manual..._mount_plate_pioneer_instruction_manual_1.pdf

Also plow back at regular price $449....damm .

Yes, if you look at some of the other pics you can see how far that bracket hangs out. I guess because it’s a lighter gauge of steel, when I tightened the U-boats it pulled the edges up a bit. It doesn’t affect anything though.
I noticed in the attachment you sent with the koplin bracket that they use the same location for their #5 faster. This is a very strong part of the frame.
Once we get some snow and I get a chance to try it I will let you know if anything moved or any adjustments were required.

LOL… Yeah my last name is Madeley, but everyone calls me Madness as a nickname when I was younger. I actually have a business called Dj Madness entertainment. I do music at all sorts of functions.
I actually took the machine with the plough on it all up to Innisfil beach park. They have a huge parking lot near the boat launch that they only plough half of it in the winter. I took advantage of that to try to plough out. It worked really well. The only thing I did was adjust the springs a little tighter, I think the factory suggested setting is a little light. We have had mild weather here, so the snow was about 4 inches deep but very wet and heavy. The machine and plough had no problem pushing it completely across the parking lot while it accumulated on the blade. At no time did I get wheel spin or stopped. The highlift worked really well for stocking us know at the end of the pile. Did you get a chance to pick one up yet?

I also just installed a KOPLIN switch blade ATV plow kit. I am very impressed in the quality of this plow. I put it together and installed in less then 4 hrs. This is on sale for $349 at Canadian Tire until Friday. I used the same setup as Madness.

Have you had a chance to try it out yet? I have cleared about six driveways now and It stacks snow perfectly because it lifts nice and high.
I agree this may not be the heaviest duty plow, but for light duty work it is absolutely perfect in this set up. I’ve checked everything over and nothing has come loose or moved. I’ve hit a couple curbs already and no damage or shifting of the blade or fasteners. This is a very good plow for the money

I will give it a good test tomorrow as we are expected 15-20 cm. Only had 5 cm so far but the plot worked great and the springs worked great. It’s nice to able to make use of the P500 in the winter.

Great! we are expecting more tomorrow and Saturday ...I think Kolpin should explain this install for the p500. It works AWSOME and gives you a high lift plow as well at an economical price.

Well finally got the Kolpin plow all put together, took about 2 hrs total including mount.I had to purchase 2 extra square you clamps and mount was pretty easy to install done the same way as Madness...First off Had a hard time lining up the holes for the mount and had to use a 2x4 to raise it up to give me more leverage, find it hard to raise with 1 arm on your back, beside that it works flawless..hit curb couple time lightly no damage one square u-bolt move like 3mm slightly, but it a a bigger then normal size 2" 1/4 it needs 1'' 3/4 maybe have to tighten a bit more
Was kinda intimated by using the plow seeing it's my first time owning one, once i got use too raising and lowering and stacking it all came natural .just got to watch don't raise it to high st it's highest point
this thing plow pretty awsom at low speed pretty impressed.....
Here some pics of this morning and this about 20 cm and we are expecting 40 cm today and all night..So i will back at again tonight..
Lot of fun..
